What is World Earth Day?
World Earth Day is a yearly event held on 22 April. It celebrates life on the planet, but also encourages people to be greener through protests, demonstrations and big clean ups in the communities. People from all over the world come together to take part.
What is this years theme?
This years theme is "restore our Earth" which focuses on natural processes, green technologies and new ways that we can restore the world's ecosystems.
How can you help at home?
If we all took small steps it would add up to make one big step towards restoring our beautiful Earth. One way to do this at home is to recycle more and to cut down on the use of plastics in the home environment.
