Safer Internet Day

The theme for this year's Safer Internet Day is: Want to talk about it? Making space for conversations online.

 

 With that in mind, the children took part in 3 activities.

 

 1 Create an A-Z about all the amazing things you can do on the Internet.

 

 2 Order different online issues from most important to least important (Online bullying, scams, seeing something scary, too much screen time and online game chat rooms)

 

 3 We discussed how it might feel if you are worried about something that is happening online and what you can do to make it better.

 

The conclusions we made as a class were:

 

Always remember, the Internet can be an amazing place but we need to be careful. If you ever feel worried, do not keep to it to yourself.
