6JP's Class Charter

In 6JP, we have been busy creating our Class Charter.  We chose Articles 12, 14, 28, 29 and 31 as those which we believe are most relevant to us in school. 

Article 12 = Respect for the views of the child

Article 14 = Freedom of thought, belief and religion

Article 28 = Right to education

Article 29 = Goals of education

Article 31 = Leisure, play and culture

We discussed how both the Rights Holders (the children) and the Duty Bearers (the staff) must uphold these rights.
