This we have begun to learn to recognise numbers as words. For example one, two, three.

This is a new skill and is still quite tricky.

For numeracy homework this week we would like the children to play the fruit splat game to help them recognise numbers words one to ten.

 This week in school we have been reading the story of Beegu by Alexis Deacon.

When Beegu visited the school she enjoyed meeting the children and playing with the hula hoop and the skipping rope.
